About Us
Every since I first realized there was a Bengal breed I wanted 2 things: To own at least 1 and to breed EG (Early Generation) Bengals To achieve that goal I started out with my SBT (Stud Book Tradition) Bengals. I heard many negative things about the EG Bengals and it discouraged me from jumping into that.
I researched the breed itself for 5 years before adding my first Queen Mandolin. She was purchased as a pet, but upfront it was discussed the option of possibly breeding her. That is highly unusual, but I am glad Christi at RazielReign allowed me that opportunity. My first stud was Marimba from Tina of BengalManiacs. Marimba sired only 1 litter before he was forced into early retirement and moved to sunny Florida.
For a little over a year I worked with Christi to co-own and breed Savannahs and we had a separate cattery named Wild2Mild for our co-owned cats. It was never my intention to breed Savannahs, but it was a fascinating experience for me and I learned a lot. It was a shorter chapter than it was intended to be! I simply did not have the will power to resist adding Savannahs. I was excited about the develpment of the breed, but it competed with my desire to keep Bengals as my focus. So, I had to part with the Savannahs.Wild2Mild still exists and is working hard at achieving typey, distinctive, Savannah x Savannah breedings.
My newest chapter is finding a breeder who is whole heartedly and passionately devoted to her EG Bengals. It is exciting to start working towards my dream of working with EG Bengals.
I will socialize your kitten in the best manner we know how. If an issue comes up with the health of your kitten that will affect him/ her I will let you know and you will always have the option to choose another kitten. Stress of a new environment, new food, introduction to new surroundings and particularly introductions to other household cats will usually result in a minor health issue in a young animal. Common sense, supportive care and time will help them overcome this. Crying and looking for littermates and mom is normal. A kitten is a lot like a kid going to Kindergarten.
Please read through the FAQ section and feel free to ask me any questions you have.
