Awagati Madras "Madras"
Retired EG Bengal Queen
Born 5/9/2008 to Rupee and Minstrel. This is the "wild child" of the girls from Rupee. She is staying in my program. Rupee and Minstrel did such a great job. Madras is amazing in so many ways. She clearly takes after the ALC side of the family tree. Her color is amazing as well. I assumed she would fade with age. Instead her markings have become more intense and more beautiful. At 2 years old, she has finally filled out. Her eyes are much larger than they appear. However, she always squints them into a semi glare when cameras are around. I wish I could say she has become more outgoing towards people. That is not the case. Mumbai - her littermate sister- seemed to have gotten all the people loving genetics. However, we respect each other very much. When Madras is eating her treats, she will not let any cats near her, but will let me pet her. She is the first to come running for a treat and the last to stop eating. she will gladly clean up after other cat who decides to walk away from their portion. She is truly a free spirit, but she does mingle with the other girls. If there is a toy of any sort involved, Madras is THERE.
